I'm collecting 1909-now all mints. I'm about halfway there. I'm trying to do most of it through CRH, but it is becoming more and more difficult. As soon as I open a roll my oldest daughter comes over and tries to cherry pick it before me!

This is a problem? :) You know they'll all eventually go to her anyway. At least you know your collection is safe for another generation and hopefully many beyond.

Now I feel for you in the short term. Just think of it that she's storing them for you.

I collect wheats (1909-1958) in a Dansco album. I collect mint and proof sets from 1959 to present and supplement that with non-error varieties, so I guess I collect ALL Lincoln cents. I'm missing the 4 usual suspects (09S,09S-VDB,14D,31S) plus 24D, and strangely, 26S and 33D. I agree that 22 plain is an error and I won't bother with it, but there is a space in my Dansco album for it, so I will likely put a "weak D" in that spot and make an appropriate annotation in my album. I am also shopping for 1960 large and small date pennies and 1982 penny varieties.

I put together a set of LMC from circulation and am slowly building a set of LWC. A lot of holes in that one.

LWC, LMC, and the 2009 years. I didn't see the point of the shields, though I will make a point to buy some of the last year pennies are minted (if that happens).

I have a lot of holes left to fill in the LWC series. Including errors types I also need the big ones from the LMC series also.

I have a complete Dansco 8100 that was filled from circulation finds of my Grandfather,Mother, Myself, and my Son. I have three sets of old Whitman folders that are mostly complete.

I have been collecting since 1964. I have rolls of each date and mint mark from 1935 up. I have an original mint bag of 43S cents. I have a few rolls of certain dates and mint marks before 35. All rolls were collected from circulation except for some newer rolls.

So, yeah; I collect Lincolns.

I've got a complete set of Lincolns with the exceptions of 1909-S VDB, 1909-S, and 1931-S. Most of the older issues were originally pulled from circulation by my grandfather and given to me in the late 1970s to start my collection and thus will never be replaced or upgraded. The memories are more important to me than the grade.

i just joined today. I've been collecting wheaties casually all my life, never bought any, just roll searching and sorting change; am interested in trading wheaties with others.

Here! Collecting for just over 10 years. The collection is never complete...always searching for upgrades! (I suffer from mild OCD and severe perfectionism). I personally dislike slabbed coins (I support the process of authentication and love the coin(s), just don't care for the look of the slab.)

I finally completed my Lincoln set this week. My 1909-s vdb is on its way and I should receive it next week. It was graded VF30 by NGC. Should fit in perfect with the rest of my Lincolns.

My Two Cents on this subject is... I only obtain them through change. I save all pre-1982 pennies. When I come across a penny that that looks nearly uncirculated, I'll keep it too.
