Not every coin has to be a 65 to like...

Below is a 1672 Netherlands Patagn coin in Fine-12 condition that I love... The circulation give it some real history...

Beautiful coin, I actually prefer IHC in red/brown and brown over full red.

Great looking coin! PCGS is pretty consistent on color grading. If a coin has less than 95% of its red on both sides it will not make the RD designation. And I believe you that even if you have a coin with 100% on one side and 90% on the other it will be graded a RB and not a RD.

I'm with BeagleBailey, I like my copper cents to be either rich milk chocolate brown or a nice transitional Red brown. I personally won't pay the premium for the Bright Red ones, no character to them in my humble opinion.
MVC, your coin is a beauty and a sure keeper. Thank you for sharing.

Very nice coin.

Paying a premium for full red coins is a gamble as over time, depending on how and where stored, they will eventually turn brown and that premium vanishes into thin air.
