I've seen ebayer's selling this similar Jefferson nickel, but, now cannot find listings...what is the name for this filled die line above the 2 on this nickel..there's a nickname for this type of not-so-uncommon(I think)error.

I think it's called a "bar 2" or something like that.

They are very common. I see them often when going through nickels. Usually you see them on 1960 nickels and they call them bar 0. All they are is a die chip which I personally wouldn't even call an error yet. Instead I think of it as a die state. But sellers give a nickname to it and all of a sudden they can get money for them.

Hey CaptainFwiffo, does this apply to Lincoln cents I have seen this on some I am searching and didn't think it was anything. Would they be worth saving?
