1974 Error Quarter. Anyone Heard Of This Error?

n9jig Pillar of the Community United States 1001 Posts	Posted 05/24/2012 05:42 am From the first picture it looks like PMD (Post Mint Damage). Like John1 said, it looks like the I got scraped and pushed. Look with a loupe or decent magnifier and see if there aren't scrape marks where the I is supposed to be. If it is truly PMD then it is worth about $0.25. If it came from the mint that way then it might be worth getting it graded and certified as an error. Report this Post to the Staff
