A while ago I was able to get my hands on a decent sized lot of large Australian cents for 25 cents a piece A grade estimate on them would be appreciated. First is a 1927 Half Penny Next is a 1924 Penny And finally a 1935 Penny Report this Post to the Staff

enworb Pillar of the Community Australia 4411 Posts	Posted 05/26/2012 03:05 am Australia didnt have cents until 1966; these are pennies 1927 half penny- detail to VF but pretty mucky (nice obv die cracks!) 1924 penny - VG 1935 penny - detail to gVF/aEF but again pretty mucky. A light rub with olive oil will remove most of that grime and benefit them hugely IMO. The 1927 reverse may be a bit to heavy for the oil though and is probably beyond fixing. 1935 should come up real nice but I do stress Light rub maybe with a cotton bud. I'm sure a light rub with olive oil will bring out a lot of detail in the crown. On second looks I will admit aEF is too optimistic but gVF wouldnt be out of the question.
