Sadly, I had to look-up siliqua (siliquae?) ... ummm, was I the only one? (*sigh*)Quote: The siliqua is the modern name given to small, thin, Roman silver coins produced from 4th century and later. When the coins were in circulation, the Latin word siliqua was a unit of weight defined as one-twentyfourth of the weight of a Roman gold solidus (coin) Beautiful coins!! Siliquae => "welcome" => wow, your eyes must have lit-up when you saw ancientcoinguy's thread, eh? ... man, it was your big-chance to show all of your amazing coins (good job)

Quote: Eng5858 wrote I'm going to have to sell one of my kids just to get one My pricing table on ebay or public auctions is around this one : C5->C1 : 0-90 € S , R1 : 100-200 € R2, R3 : 200-400 € R4-R5 : burgled... But because I know lot of people using metal detector like me, I receive proposals from them.... but in fact : the high level quality is comming frequently from public auctions, the high level rarity is comming from ebay.
