I have it on video I got it from bank roll,
Why have a video? Quote:
*im SURE it is not a fake, as it came with many other pre 1940's. Also does not look like anyone messed with it... its in GREAT Shape just a little worn*
People sometimes get counterfeit from a banking machine. Keep in mind the stunning rarity, ZERO certified circulated examples, and plenty of fakes, as a basis for requiring skepticism here. If it is real, it would have to be a specimen that got out into the wild. That is not without precedence.

Get a decent digital camera, these days you can pick one up for $150 that will be pretty good for regular point and shoot. But on to macro mode and take a few pictures until you get a nice clear one. The pics you have posted are unfortunately of no help in terms of determining if there is a dot and whether it may or may not be real. I hope you are the lucky one who finds a real 1936 dot :) last one sold for $402,000 BUT in SP-66 condition. For some reason (probably due to the many fakes out there) its nearly impossible to get these things certified as many TPGs are probably scared in case they verify a fake.

It is a shame that the internet is such a poor conduit for sarcasm. I thought JeyRey2000's comment was hilarious...

This image taken at my kitchen table with my cell phone and a 10x magnifier. Uploaded using the reply to topic image optimizer. It took me a while to get the technique and can be better with more light. Have you checked out the coins and Canada website photo for 1936 dot 1 cent bpositive?

I took the liberty to enhance your photo, but I don't see a dot between the 9 & 3. Now that I blown it up, this one is hard to tell, maybe with better and sharper images.

It is a real trying experience to get a good photo of any coin. I am still trying even after reading Mark Goodmans excellent book on coin photography and having been an amateur B&W photographer for years. I know you are probably really excited as we all are when we think we find a major error or rarity at little cost. Hate to rain on your parade but that is most likely not the real deal! I have seen three of the 1936 dots and the coins are NOT circulation coins rather they are SPECIMENS (JJ PITTMAN).

strange story about this particular penny, Charlton mentions that there was a supposed mintage of 700,000 ! Yet the ONLY ones that were every certified are from proof sets....very odd

The Charlton catalogue is quoting an old mint report. The coins may have been minted, but were probably all melted/destroyed. Through old interviews and other sources of information, which may be ambiguous at best, the known specimen strikes were probably struck after 1936. There are quite a few papers on this very topic, published over the years in the CN Journal. You can access all the old journal publications, if you are a member of the RCNA. I would think that if 700,000 coins were released, they would be as common as the 1936 25c dot coin.

I dont think you have the "dot". From what I can tell looks as if it may be a extra piece of metal.

I took a photo of a very common coin. Please Don't strain your eyes looking for dots on it.

If I strain any harder, I would also see $tars.
