hondo, I believe he bought it at a coin store in a proof set. Great luck eh?
Muddler, no worries, always plenty of cameo/dcam on the bay to bid on! Looks like its us three that have cameo frank fever!

muddler, WOW! please retake pictures of the 1958 so we can see the cameo look of it as the sellers pictures suck.
The 1954 looks nice!

muddler, I was watching that 58 yesterday, along with a few other from the same seller. he had a great couple franklins. I would have loved to have tried my luck, but moneys tight at the moment so I had to pass. you got a fantastic bargain on that 58. 57 - 59 are very underrated proofs in the series, and for the price, you got an awesome coin. congratulations! I have not yet gotten any word on the coins I sent to pcgs. hopefully soon. in the meantime, thanks to a forum member, we worked out a little swap and I came away with these houses for my slabbed franklins. for now, its all I have to share!

If I'm correct yes it will fit NGC slabs too but if you look around there are off brand boxes that hold NGC, PCGS, and ANACs slabs.
That 1958 link you just posted, the coin looks beautiful! Might end at the same price you paid for yours?
I have doubles and triples of some years as I don't care about a set, I just like all cameo franks and if its a good price, I will just buy it even if I already have one :)

muddler, I think you really did well on the 58 you bought. Nice work! As far as I know they will hold NGC, but I also have never tried them so I'm guessing. I added that 58 to my watch list. I would guess it will go for at least 500. maybe more. I can dream, right?

I have all my slabs in the PCGS boxes the only ones that won't fit well are the old ANACs slabs because they are to tiny. Muddler, I suspect that 54 is going to look sweet when you get it. Awesome Franklins guys.

oops wasn't paying attention. Muddler bought a 66 cam for 93 and posted a 68 cam thats on ebay for sale. Crazy how 1-2 grades can really changes prices buy a lot! I like the NGC 58 better though, the PCGS had bad pictures or something but didn't look cam but they can be hard to photograph

Another storage option to consider is Eagle Albums. They hold the slabbed coins nicely where they are easy to view both sides. I use Eagle for my government issue mint and proof sets.

Coindog, I have a ways to go. I need 1960, 57-59, 54, 50-52. Coin show coming up first week in August. I'm trying to save up with hopes I can add to the collection.
Feel free to share some of your bens, proof or not!
