Got this in change today at the gas station. Looks pretty used, but still a good find in terms of rarity

Found this toned 2008 quarter while going through an old coin jar tonight. I know it didn't go in looking like that but have no idea how long it's been sitting in there.

xd99xd, those are some good nickel finds. I don't seem to find 12-sided anymore, not even in circulation. Here are some highlights from the last two weeks at work: Nice July 1999 Quarter: 1965 dime one of my managers saved, a hole filler: A "binary" note, almost a radar: Some Macklem/Carney $5s: A Macklem/Carney journey $20, my first ever: And these: All three are Knight/Dodge. Unfortunately, it's the return of the staple. I hope this isn't the same manager who stapled all my other bills, because I've told her three times already and lost a few bills to staple holes. I'm keeping one to fill a spot in my collection, saving one for my brother, and spending one for fun. It was two years ago I last saw a birds $20, but I was new at the job and didn't even think asking to save it would be possible. Anyways, I'm at grateful that my managers are finding awesome things and saving them for me.

Nice! I don't know how rare the cigar chip 1996 toonies are, but it's something I don't have yet. I got my first Maine US State Quarter a couple days ago... It's been the last hole in my State Quarters for over a year. Unfortunately it's a little dingy and scratched.

I know what you mean by scratched , look at that toonie, but still a first for me. I saw the variety in Charlton and was looking for one for a couple years.
