I rescued this from circulation. It has very visible flow lines and a cartwheel luster. I would send it in if not for the dings on the obverse around the queen's eye. Still might.

Silverdon , always nice to rescue a 73 quarter from circ.
Lucv13 , thanks dads coins aren't going anywhere for now.
In my view the 1958 half is just as nice as the 1956, just my poor quality pics to blame.

Nice coins but we're straying from circulation finds. Perhaps you should start a separate thread to show your inheritance.

I thought about that before and only put these here as they are circulation finds, just by my father. But hey I don't wanna draw anyone off topic so I'll stop.

Quote: Someone paid their Mastercard bill with 30+ Sequential CRISP BIRD SERIES $100 Bills I'm surprised Walmart would accept them, millions of dollars worth of counterfeits made it into circulation. Lots of businesses (including the one I worked for) wouldn't accept those bills.

Here are some interesting circulation finds from work since Sunday, June 28: Coins that are not in focus: 1996 German Planchet Toonie, 1968 Quarter .500 silver, ATB Great Smoky Mountains 2014, 2006 5 pence. Also, my mom found this piece of advertizing in one of her old wallets:

Picked up 18 of these 1974 dollars many years ago looking for double yoke. Checked them again recently and discovered that they were VCR#5. There is also a die break through the beads which starts out small and gets longer as you go through the coins.

Here are some more finds from work dating back over a week. Lots of interesting foreigns: 2014 Australia 10 cents 2009 Fiji 20 cents 2015D USA 25 cents Kisatchie 2002 Germany 5 Euro cents 2014 Zambia 5 ngwee 1997 GB 5 pence 1994 Cuba 5 cents Some interesting bills, too. Got my very first $10 no security strip, my first $5 macklem/carney, and my first rotator note. I ended up spending the last one. My manager received a $5 issue 1979 a few weeks ago. Although she kept it for herself, it was nice to see an oldie. I really enjoy reading circulation finds and I encourage others to post theirs! It seems like the thread has died down in the last couple weeks.

That is an amazing coin reject find! It still counts as a circulation find, but there is a thread on the Coin Roll Hunting page devoted to reject finds from coin counters and other machines. Been a while since I've seen silver in my till. Then... July 30: I saw a higher than normal amount of older dimes in my till. Looked through and found two 1965s. August 1: Looked through dimes again, in case there was more silver. Got a 1968. Also got a decent 1972 quarter that evening; there is some shine left but not that visible in the picture. August 8: My manager brought a quarter to me that she thought was silver, since it sounded different. It was a 1968. I taught her well! (no pics)

Just the other day I told a friend that I wasn't able to find colorised coins anymore. Then I got this from change after dinner. My first one of this type too.
