Wow, you guys found the new poppy and flag quarters in circulation already? Those must be pretty slow to come round here. I only found my first Wait For Me Daddy toonie from circulation yesterday, from the same cafeteria. Quote: Solid find. Yup, saw the 2012 on top and got excited. I'm certain they're getting harder to find with the ARP culling these coins. And how I hate coin roller damage! It looks good, until you look at the other side...

no picture, but I went through a part of my unsorted penny collection last weekend, and was elated to find a 'type 4' 1965 penny!
frankly, I didn't think I'd ever have one - and had no plans to buy one... but yay for me!

Picked up 14 rolls of pennies from a TD branch yesterday, didn't find much but I did rescue this one from the melt.

Was happy to add the 1992 Quarters from Manitoba and Saskatchewan to my board today. Sorted through my circulation quarters. Last one is Yukon.

So after the Burnaby coin show I did a bank run and got two rolls of pennies and seven rolls of quarters. I was seeing if I could find some more coloured poppy and coloured flag quarters. I was able to find both of these in the same roll, these are the first silvers in about 4 years of roll searching quarters. 1962 and 1964.

Got a 2015 Flanders Field Toonie in my change yesterday. Don't hold much hope of getting a coloured Poppy though.

Nice finds everyone... especially the '64 quarter! --- Unfortunately I'm a year behind posting circulation finds , but here are the better ones from last month. Got two birds $20s in December from Superstore. Two ladies paid with them and had several more in their hand. From a distance I was thinking "awwww yeah" , but I was admittedly disappointed once I saw that the two I got from the cashier were soiled and ripped badly. I kept one but the other will make an interesting gift. These were from the last four days at work. The world coin is from the Cayman Islands. The older dime is also a hole filler. I hope the best for good circulation finds for all of you in 2016!

Anyone finding the color flag, or poppy quarters. I haven't seen one yet.
