I have found this 1883-P Morgan dollar in a small collection and I was wondering what type of error this is and if there is any demand for this type of error. The crater by her mouth makes it look like she's blowing a bubble. Approximately 7 on the obverse and 1 on the reverse.
The 2 indentations on the lip and he star are the same exact shape leading me to believe that they were made by the same object. A long time ago. They appear to be the same depth too. Send it to me I'll check it out in my collection
Could these be from an old nail? They use to be square or close to it. I can see some kid in the 1890's sitting under a tree smacking the coin he just got for his birthday from an uncle he didn't like.
