@hart, prior to 1980 Kennedy halves minted at the Philadelphia mint had no mint marks. Starting in 1980 the Philadelphia mint started putting the P mint mark on the Kennedy halves and I believe all other coins except the cent but don't quote me on that.

The D mint mark is on the reverse under the left claw of the eagle as you are looking at it on the 1964 Kennedy half dollar only. In 1968 the mint mark was moved to the obverse under the date.

Awesome finds! Really wish I were that lucky to find coins such as these. All I ever seem to find is a wheat here or there.

Hi Milla! Glad to see a fellow cashier. 90% of my collection is out of my cash drawer. Keep your eyes peeled sharp and you'll find Buffalo nickels, Indian-head cents, plenty of wheatheads (it's worth your time to buy these out of your drawer--you may find rare/premium dates, and if not, you can sell them in bulk--all decent-grade wheats are worth a premium), silver, error coins, foreigns aplenty, and much more.

Those silver Canadian dimes are fascinating! Great find.
