jwharper, I am into Ancients, but mostly on the Greek side of it, with a very minor focus on Alexander III drachms ;-) (how do you insert smileys here, can't seem to figure it out ?).

If you respond with "Reply to Topic" at the bottom it will allow you to post "smileys" and upload photos, etc ... ummm, but that may be a feature that only happens fter 50 posts?

... okay "now" I'm logging-off ...

to the community Dionysos

For someone that doesn't collect Roman coins, you sure have a beautiful example of one.

anyway, Dionysos. Greek coins seem in vogue here of late. I'll be looking forward to seeing some of yours. I just purchased my first Alexander III Drachm about a month ago. It was struck at Abydos.

Welcome Dionysos.

That's a nice coin you posted.

I'm a bit bit confused as to what is Mars and what is Virtus. Your coin looks like Mars to me but maridvnvm is calling the shots.

Sadly, I didn't have a Mars type for this show but I will be voting, and I hope many of the 600 plus people who read this thread so far will as well. Your coin should be in the running.

Regards

Don't worry Doucet, maridvnvm already said it was Mars (I thought it was Virtus originally).

Alrighty then Dionysos, your in!

We're coming down to the last hours.

I was gonna run out and buy a Mars coin just to post, but then I remembered there is no place here to run out to.
