Received my 20 for 20 today. No problems with the coins or packaging. These came from my recent order. I guess my original subscription order is stuck in limbo - which is fine - I didn't want to double up.

Got notification the Wolf Cub set shipped yesterday.

Got mine today. All 3 plastic pouches are cracked open. Can I exchange them?

got first 3 coins early (subscription) in same condition but decided exchange is not worth the hassle.

got 2x3 later through regular order - and they were perfect.

Anyone look closely at their coins? All of mine have crappy strikes, the cheekbone of the Queen is horrible... I would love to have a perfect one (SP-67)....

Now what's up with the $20 for $20 Farewell Penny?
I ordered 3 coins on RCM website 3 weeks ago!
RCM says -Processing- order and web page for this coin states -Awaiting Stock- ?

RCM puts out new item to order for $20 Silver Commemorative Coin - Magical Reindeer (2012,
but they cannot even get the orders for $20 Farewell Penny coins out to customers!
How about using that Magical Reindeer to deliver my $20 Farewell Penny coins!
I not allowed to use bad words here, but RCM needs to get they ACT together...

Gord,

I thought mine had the same thing, but on closer examination I believe what it is is a water droplet that has bounced up from the surface of the water the leaf is floating in.

Compare it to the image on the folder and see if it matches up.

Hmm, so I signed up for the subscription starting with the Jubilee coin, and received the Penny automatically. Does that mean that after the Holiday coin, I am going to "lose my place in line" so to speak, and have to sign up for the subscription again? That seems backwards, I was under the impression that the subscription was perpetual.

You would think the mint would want more subscribers. Odd.

A subscription for a limited series is obviously not a problem. But, this looks like it will be a perpetual series.

I think the problem is the mint doesn't have any way to cancel the subscription online, so perpetual would mean added customer support requirements for cancellations.

The subscription seems to be for three coins and then ends.

I confirmed with the mint that my subscription ended with the "Farewell to the Penny", so I ordered the "Magical Reindeer" directly.

Just got off the phone with a mint rep and she told me that there is no subscriptions for the new 20 for 20 and there will be no shipping code. Has anyone else heard this?

Did she mean that this has to be ordered separately or did she mean that if you order the reindeer coin you don't get a chance to order a subcription?

I ordered a subscription again with the Farewell to the Penny and I believed it to include the reindeer coin.

I just checked my order with the Mint, I have been getting the 20 for 20 and when asked to put in for the next one I did.

My May order has half still 'processing' and the Aug. order has the 'Farewell to the Penny' shipped and the 'fall order' which is the 'Magical Reindeer' being Processed, all of this has already been charge to my bank account with no shipping and no tax.

So I just tried to order the 'Reindeer' and it came up and said I was at my limit of 3.
So the 'register' for the next one is in affect.

I checked my credit card last night and saw I was charged $60 by the RCM - I thought it strange they would charge for the Reindeer coins before shipment date.

Today the three "farewell to the penny" coins from my original polar bear subscription order arrived by Fedex.

No shipment notification or status update on my web order. The order date showed on the invoice as 9/24/12 and the order number was in number sequence closer to that of an older order but nothing that matched the website.

I don't mind getting and paying for the second set of coins....just seems weird to receive my subscription order a month later than a separate order made shortly after they came out!!
