I know this comes out of left field, its just an impressive number.

According to wiki, the RCM has made 80,170,676 Silver Maple Leafs since 1988 to 2011.

2,493,308,024 grams of silver!
(2493 metric tonnes of silver)

and that's just the regular maples. Not the privy, the wildlife series, the collector maples, etc.
Just the plain boring bullion maples.

Does anybody know how big a coin that would make if all the maples could be melted down and merged together?

I'm sure there is a math formula out there can can tell me....

I'm curious as to how many of the 80,000,000 silver maple leafs made have milk spots?
Btw, our neighbour made just over 282,000,000 American silver eagles since 1986. That means almost 1 ASE coin for every American.

One ASE per American, I seem to have more than my share.
