I have a decent album for my Small Cents, but none for my mercs yet. Dont have a nice Dansco, but one that has slide out rows. It seems to work well for my 1857-59 Wheats. havent been able to find a non Whiteman Mercury in Roseburg yet

I always buy my albums from ebay or on line coin supply shops. I'm thinking of trying the three ring binders for the plastic pages that have 20 sleeves for 2x2's. I'm beginning to build up a pretty good collection of world coins and they're all different sizes. They would be perfect for that.

This thread has inspired me to go check to local pawn shops to fill my folder. I've always wanted to go to a pawn shop and I finally have an excuse!

Yeah I have a collection of Random world coins that would go great in that type of folder, Bought 5 bucks worth today actually(for 10 cents each, including 2 War Nickels!) Luckily I get paid friday, So I am going to buy all the ones I need to fill holes, then upgrade from there

Sadly, there were only 2 coins, But ended up getting some pretty cool tokens(1924 honolulu transit, Pittsburg Transit, etc) and some older world coins. And maybe a small silver coin thats pretty worn, need to try and figure out what it is tomorrow.

I tried a couple of pawn shops in Eugene yesterday. The first one had some mint sets that were severely corroded. The second one had half a bag of silver dollars and let me go through a roll of Peace and Morgans. I liked a 1897 and 1900 that had attractive toning. Nothing special about them so I offered 25 bucks apiece but he wouldn't take less than 30 after he did a quick ebay check. I passed on em. He didn't really wanna sell and he wouldn't let me go through the bag even though I was the only person in there.

I hate that, I've been working on this place down here for nearly a year trying to build up a relationship so the guy, who is notorious difficult to deal with, can sell me stuff. Try downtown springfield, All the places I go are within walking distance. Coin shop and 2 2nd hand places. I had a 2nd hand place here in Roseburg refuse to even show me the coins in the case so I could take a closer look, that is frustrating!

There is a jewelry store in Downtown springfield that has coins, but last time I tried to look at them, he said they were not for sale to me. What is up with all the denial of service from places? I'm a younger collector(28) but Its frustrating to not be able to buy when there are priced and displayed items.

Wow, won't be long and you'll have all of em ! I've been putting a bunch of my coins in 2x2's today. I've come to the realization that I need to invest in a flat clinch stapler, lol.
