Congrats on finding a pawn shop with some decent coins, whenever I've checked the shops in Springfield they've always claimed to have no silver.

I've been to the dealer in Springfield many times, if the price of silver is dropping he'll hold back what he has. (Junk silver wise)
But I did pull a holed, 1853 arrows and rays quarter from his junk bin for spot.

Given a choice though I'll drive into Eugene to Eugene coin and Jewelry, they let me pawn through their box's when I was working on my Franklin half set and they didn't care how long I took.

Eugene Coin and Jewelry is a great place, alot of great coins!
I've had decent luck in Springfield, but the guy at the coin shop there is rarely open, or doesent want to deal much with cheaper sales.

I agree that the 16-d should be bought graded.
But even the two 21s can be found without TPG.
CG, you realize of course,
that many of us are ENVIOUS of you and your supplier!
When you finish the set, please tell us how many days it took you.
And pictures, of course, if you can supply.
Think of it:
"I completed a set of Mercury dimes in X days!"
We love you, but we hate you as well. I, of course, jest.
I THOROUGHLY agree and approve of your effort.

Other than the big three, the '25-D is the only tough one in that list. The '20-S might require a little searching, but shouldn't be bad. The rest are common.

Yeah I'm afraid to buy a raw 16-d, heard the horror stories, even locally!
I dont think I can afford a 16d yet, may have to set aside for a little while for that.
The 25 D is becomming elusive, saw one, but it was more worn that I wanted to spend $4 on. Along with the 20s. And the only dimes my supplier has gotten in lately, are the polished encased ugly commons. I did find another guy who has bulk at 2.50 each(for now), but he has weird hours that dont normally fit my work sched. And he knows his coins, so for one to slip by, its RARE.
I'll work on getting some pics on my days off, have alot of coins to take pics of. Currently inventorying my Foriegn at work(and identifying Tokens and other countries)

The 16-D has been a hole in my set for a couple of years now, maybe one of these day's I'll pick one up.

I keep hoping to find one with my metal detector but no such luck yet.

Sadly, seems like the Mercury dime hunt is at a standstill. have gone through ALL the ones at the pawn shop, and grabbed the note-able ones.
Pictures will be comming soon, it was another crazy weekend for me.

I have been passing the time with random Foriegn(have 120 or so coins to go through today)
