MS64 assuming the luster is all there. The reverse is a 65+. The obverse is a 63+.
That is a nice looking Saint!

 Luster appears full to me and although the large photos make the tiny bagmarks look obvious I expect they are actually very slight and would be totally acceptable for an MS-64-graded coin. I also agree the reverse is somewhat better than the obverse but as usual the obverse is more important for determining overall grade. The 1927 is a common date and is often selected as a type coin. They are easily found in grades up to MS-65, with MS-66 examples available if you have the money. |

Yes not as noticeable in person. Luster is all there. I was hoping for a 65 but looks like consensus is 63-64

That coin has a shot at 65. I don't think it's a solid 65, but it definitely has a shot. One of the top $20 Saint guys in the country use to post as SaintGuru on CU forums. He told me that contact marks in the obverse rays are a major grading criteria at TPG. Yours has minimal contact marks in the rays.  |

I usually do not read the responses before posting my first impression of the coin but this time I did and I was real harsh on this coin it looks like because my first impression was MS-61 or 62. Gold really gets me sometimes so this is not surprising really and that's why I went ahead and read the other comments before responding but I would have never guessed MS-65. the one I "had" in my 7070 was graded MS-62 by PCGS and I thought this one looked about the same condition if not a little more nicked up

Lots of contact on the torch, chest, leg. My guess is MS-63.

The second set of photos look like a very nice 64. I'd be happy with it at that grade.

Well I my gold friend contacted me and told me he got a nice one in. I didnt see it and I asked how much he said 1615.00 So It was not bad. I am going to send it in after a while and see how it grades
