Only ordered the grosbeak and sp ed. silver $.

All the snakes and painted quarter CFL coins are uninteresting, and I had previously ordered the special circulation set at a discount.

Edit: on second look, the Sir Isaac Brock $350 gold piece looks tempting. But 35g of Au for $2800 is too rich for my blood.

The new SE Grey Cup silver dollar has incorrect specifications listed on the RCM website. It lists the coin as being 34 mm in diameter with a weight of 23.17 grams.

I've confirmed with the RCM that the coin follows the standard specs for a traditional silver dollar -- 36.07 mm in diameter with a weight of 25.18 grams.

I just ordered the 20 for 20 coins and I got this message on the last order page:

"Restez à l'affût! D'autres produits rendant hommage à la pièce de un cent seront offerts dès le 25 septembre!"

It's in french but it says that other products related to the 1-cent coin will be released on September 25th.

Here are some photos of the snake coins for the non-MC members. I don't think they are anything special, but if you started the set, you are going to finish the set.

Before you say that I am breaking the rules, please note that the Mint released the photos years ago (2009/2010).

On top of the three you see below, there will also be a $ 10 silver half ounce and a $ 5 gold coin (~3 grams) same size as the dragon $ 5 gold coin. These two coins will share the same image as the non-lotus snake.

2nd that, ordered 20 for 20 only. I'm going to get a lotus snake for my subscription set. Don't see anything interesting. To many coins this year maybe.

Just ordered 2 Grosbeaks from the Mint. The other coins don't excite me, but I am a BC Lions fan.

Lets just see who gets their order first. Will the grosbeak arrive in my mailbox before the post office gets their stock? I know where I'll go to get the coin...

Did the last Grosbeak sold out quickly? I would like to see the actual coin in person or on youtube first before ordering it ...

The description of this new Grosbeak says "Painting over engraved cupronickel", if the Grosbeak is actually engraved then I would get one as well.
