2012-P-Sacagawea-Dollar---Strong-Die-Clash
2012-P Sacagawea dollar (die clash) by CaptainFwiffo, on Flickr

Was going through some rolls to release into the wild and found this fairly strong die clash. You can see the chief's braid and part of the horse's jaw on either side of Sacagawea, and his nose below her chin. Her earring shows up below the horse's head, along with some of her hair. The baby's face shows up on the horse's cheek, with part of her neck nearby. The horse's jawline intersects with Sacagawea's on both sides. There are some additional features that are hard to see in the pictures.

Thats a great example and an extremely cool find, especially with that much detail transfer. If you haven't already, try and contact those at maddieclashes.com and see if they want it for their site. I just checked and it doesn't look as if they have one listed yet for this particular coin.

It's not, but they list both typical and atypical die clashes. This is such a strong clash on such a modern coin that it would be worth listing imo.

That's a nice example. We don't seem have that at maddieclashes(dot)com
I could add it if you send it.

I sent an email to BJ - feel free to use my pictures (I have very high-res ones if you click through to my flickr feed). I could take additional pictures if that would help (though its so glossy that it's hard to photograph). If you'd like the coin itself, I'm going to go through the rest of the box first to see if I have others. I already put this one in a 2x2, and I'd rather not rip it out already if I don't have to.

CaptainFwiffo - Before you release these into the wild, can I purchase one from you? I need the 2012 Sac version. =)

I'm saving the nicest ones from each roll, and from a couple bags I opened earlier in the year. I have P+D pairs of either lettering orientation. I need to update my trade list, but I have a whole bunch available. Also putting together sets of the S-mint ATB Quarters, again just the nicer ones from the rolls and putting the baggy ones out into the wild.

I am looking for one of the 2012 type. It doesn't matter to me if it is P or D, I just like to collect one of each style. The banks by me don't carry them. =(
