I started searching IKE rolls since the bank didn't order the halves this week. Pulled a bunch of 76 type 1, I purchased $300 dollars worth pulled about 20 76's and went and spent the rest at Walmart. The cashier was lost, one of the managers came over and took my rolls to the back and came back and said there was over $600 in rolls. I just laughed, they checked them by weight and didn't even look at the coins. Yes I told them to check it again there is only $220 dollars there. They were using the gold dollar weight standard and not the Ike. Just thought I would share.

@domain, Awesome!

I picked up $43 in Ikes at my bank today, they were happy to dump them on me.

Nothing worth keeping.

Well, for what it is worth, I am biased.

(In other words, just me being silly!)

If anyone needs rolls of dollars they order them at one of our banks here. I went to pick up some halves and they told me they can order $1000 Ike's at a time if I wanted them. I was really surprised to see the there. They had just finished hand rolling that morning.

May I please ask the name of your banking system?

Maybe I might be able to use them? (too)

I was able to get $160 in Ikes after dumping halves today. Only items of note were 3 1976 Type 1, and a 1978-D hole filler.

The bank here in Alamogordo is First National Bank, They don't mind helping their customers, very friendly. Sorry it took so long to answer that question. I don't purchase dollars that often. I know that will order them anytime I ask.
