I am collecting these by the old fashioned (semi lazy) way and just by date and not mint mark (since the only difference is a letter).

I get two rolls, keep one whole and break the other. I then find the best looking coins (which is hard - try finding a really clean Presidential dollar) and put them in airtites. I put these and the roll in a little fireproof box with my other junk coins. The rest I spend and distribute to the world .

Maybe when I get to 50 post I might trade - more so to keep other people from paying above face value for these than to get the other mint mark (they're really not worth $35 a roll!).
Rest in Peace

Like Ralph, I plan on collecting a "D", a "P", and a Proof of each Presidential dollar, and like my Sacagaweas, will keep them in a Dansco Album.

I have put away a roll of the Washingtons and the Adams, but I'm not really sure why.
