so did you buy Dcadon? I can't bring myself to purchase from an online dealer. After mark-up and shipping fees it is to high for my liking. Maybe once the mark-ups start to come down a bit.

There's a group buy currently being organized by a member on RFD for those who want to save shipping.

$31.30 an ounce is pretty decent for this nice coin. The 1/4 ounce gold polar bear is also not a bad price ($418 now). Silvergoldbull offers half shipping cost ($10.45) for orders over $2500, which might interest a group buy.

@barriecarson, no, I didn't. funny though, a few months back, I would have, but the mark up at that point, they wanted $67/coin (way too much for bullion).

Sort of a bump. looking for air tite coin holders for these, I looked at air tites for the X 38 mm but they don't have the ones that fit the polar bears anymore it appears, I was wondering if anyone found a direct fit or even one with a ring that closes properly.

@NC, I find the Lighthouse 38 mm Ring capsule fits the polar bear just as well as the X38 mm air-tite capsule. Haven't found a direct fit without the ring yet...

Thanks allspice, I did find a web site that appears to sell direct fit capsules but it is from Germany I believe, not sure how to go about and even order from them lol. They have 10 for 6 euro and 100 for 50 euro I think. http://aurinum.de/Capsule-for-15-Oz...Series-384_1Hmm seems they only had 1 roll of 10 casuals in stock so I ordered them, we will see what happens lol. Came to about $17 CA after shipping and euro to CA conversion.

@ Northerncoins: Previously somewhere, I posted that I've tried the RCM "thick" capsule (that they use for Crystal Raindrop coins) and it wits very well. The problem, that need to call to RCM and ask to send that kind of capsule (as a replacement), or try to buy it from them.

I just ordered the last 10 pack of those from them , I tried to get two but they only had 1 available. Or they would only let me buy 1 possibly. They still have the 100 pack in stock I believe but now it says 42 euros instead of 50 euros lol, strange. http://aurinum.de/index.php

Ok so you can buy 1 for .58 euro I just put in 20 of them and it was ok so you can buy them individually lol, wish I had of seen that first lol.
Its cost 6 euro for shipping so maybe $8 CA but that was for a 10 pack so if you buy more the shipping maybe more.

Update on these coin capsules , they fit perfectly! I would say they were made just for the 1 and 1/2 oz polar bear coin. Only thing is they are not airtite brand, they look like a lighthouse brand capsule, but the fit is perfect.
