First up: Two 1983, with the bottom of the 8 filled in

Second:1952 wheat, the curve of the 9 looks very thick to me compared to others.

They are both die chips. An error, but fairly common.

CHECk the 83 with chips for 1983P-1DO-003 that is the marker for this Doubled DIE good luck and nice find

What type of $ value does this top out at for a VF - XF grade, for example?

Are you saying that this '83 of Twiztid is a DDO?

If it is, Twiztid, could you please take a closeup shot of the date?

And by the way just in case you currently do not possess a camera capable of capturing a closeup shot of the date, I recommend reading the following CCF thread which covers some inexpensive options (with sample closeup DDO photos) for USB cameras from other CCF members:

I read about the 1do-003 and thats why I put the pictures on here, will get the best shots I can of close ups when I get home, thanks guys.

He is saying to check for a DDO, there are also 83's with die chips in the same place that are not DDO's.

twiztid: Check the "R" in TRUST and the "B" and "R" in LIBERTY. If you can post a close up of these we might be able to help.
