And this is the problem with modern coins. All the dies are machine made on CNC milling machines etc.
There is no character to the mintage's anymore.

Renniks lists 32 different errors and varieties for the 1944 Penny.! If you are lucky enough to have few of this year it can certainly been a full afternoon of noodling.
It can also send you a bit loopy.
