The majority of coins get graded in bulk orders from dealers where the per coin cost is much lower. But 60 or 70 dollars is nothing when you talking about coins that can be hundreds of thousands of dollars difference between grades

For modern coins though if it isn't a perfect 70 youve lost money

MS66...sounds like the "one to beat"...although it is highly doubtful.

I am envisioning a "learning to grade" room for this promotion and a bag of quarters. From the discussion so far, they are not ding so hot.

Daniels: Just picked mine up this afternoon. Mine appears to be just just 32 gradings later than yours. It's also a Glacier @ ms64 but from the Philadelphia mint.

On mine, there are various nicks and dings on Washington head and neck but cannot tell if they are on the coin or on the underside of the slab next to the coin.

Can anyone decipher the registration # that appears on under the coin description. IE: mine reads 505143.64 then what I take as the slab identifier # of 8 digits. What does the 505143.64 signify.
