This is my first year of collecting and I guess it's only makes sense to have a sale for the unpopular coin of previous year before the new one arrive (to get rid of inventory). CC wasn't much of a deal where as GW has some pretty good deals.

I agree, there is a quantity of unpopular items. But, I managed to get 10x 20for20 canoes. I did get 3 from the Mint, but needed more to make full-sets for my nephews & nieces.

Yeah Rock.. but it is hard to get those price in the secondary market.

I totally agree, they sell for $30 easy same with polar bear. I'm just saying its not a sale price at gatewest but its a great deal. ðŸŽ.

Rockdaddy how much do the 20$ Maples sell for? The first coin in the 20 for 20 series.

$35-$45 for the first 20 for 20. IMO

Thanks for info.
I did get 3 from RCM for 20 each. I needed more and moct stores did not have any. I did locate a couple for 28, but I passed. At 22.95, I was more than happy to jump on that from Gatewest.

I just made my first purchase with Gatewest as there were a few things I found for a decent price. I've been dealing with Colonial Acres online and a walk in at J&M for awhile and have always been a happy customer. I'm hoping my experience with Gatewest is just a pleasent. Looking forward to receiving my order, but I'm just like a little kid when I know new coins are on the way.

I personally find GW and CA are pretty much the same type of service. They both are a bit slow in shipping but pretty good if you contact them via phone or email. As for the Canoe... when people ordered them from RCM.. didn't they just received 1 COA with 3 coins and not 1 COA for each coin?

I ended up getting a couple hundred canoes and they didn't come with COA's.
