Let be honest here. I'm not sure anyone would honour that sale. Unless your some big conglomerate. I don't blame her for not completing the sale, it was not a small amount of money.

There is NO excuse for not setiing a Reserve Price or if you don't want to pay the 2 bucks for having that options, start your auction at the minimum price you would be happy selling it.

That set that sold for $59.99 was not an auction, so reserve price is not applicable.

It was an honest mistake. She set the buy it now price at 59.99. It wasn't a live auction starting at .99 cents

I actually won or purchased a $20 moose for $0.99 plus shipping but the seller contacting me the next day and requested to cancel the transaction. It should have not been a buy it now but an auction. I have the link if anyone wants to see it.
Rest in Peace

I've done the same. Won an auction for a 20/4/20. Nobody else bid on it. I contacted the seller and offered to cancel the sale. $16 was my total, including post. I felt bad for the guy, and wished if it ever happens to me, well......I doubt it will. I have rarely sold coins, and prefer to sell to like minded people. (You know who you are)

Colonial Acres also have the Vintage Superman for $39.99 as part of their blow out specials. Original issue price was $44.99.

They also have the Year of the Snake coins on sale too. Plus the gold plated last penny. Wait long enough and everything would be on sale.

The below isn't really new (2013 item) and not a deal, but probably will be hot for the fans:

I saw this coin on the different foreign sites and now Colonial Acres has it:

2013 Niue Islands .999 Fine 1oz Silver Proof Coin-Celebrating 50 Years of Spider-Man

http://colonialacres.com/products.p...56098&ref=47

I impressed by the package

At $150, it's a very nice coin indeed. I just wonder if it'll 'jump the Shark' like the Great White did, and drop from $150ish to the $100 area.
