PCGS graded: 463 $5 and 2994 $10 of the BoC Hoard = 3457 total
NGC graded: 148 $5 and 327 $10 of the BoC Hoard = 475 total

The biggest impact is the 1914 $10, the Hoard population of MS63 & MS64 is about 20x more for each grade in PCGS holders; similar trend of 7.6x for MS63 & 4.6x for MS64 in NGC holder. So overall, anything less than MS63 will drop in price; while the MS65 (one from each PCGS/NGC) will have significant premium.

The second biggest impact is the 1914 $5, the Hoard has increased the population of the overall graded coins by 34.15% (223 hoard/653 total). This Hoard population is 2.45x more than existing population in MS63; while the MS64 is 4.16x more. The overall effect will depress any coins graded MS63 or less. MS64 coins will also loose some premium but overall should command higher price since the total pop is only 31 coins (with 1 that's MS64+).

Things will change as more coins reach their buyers and more are being submitted.

One aspect that should still hold true is: Those bought/buying 1914 $5 HS will have the least risk and probably get the most bang for his/her buck.

No Problem.

It took me some times to transcribe the data and post them. I'd tried copy and paste but the alignment of the columns doesn't come out right.

Why the huge price tag? It must have been because of the free shipping. jk

The listing does not show the side with the king on it. I would not buy it unless I have a pic of that side. That side is always worse than the side with the shield.

I agree. A nice pic of the shield, but the King side is not shown much. They are also very ambiguous when asked about the condition and grade of the coin. Sure happy I got mine for issue price ( but still waiting )

Check this $1914 and how NGC graded it. The observe looks fairly baggy IMO

Goes to show that American third party graders are generally a lot more liberal... It's more like a 63. So with all those stated as 64s.... They could possibly be 63s if they were graded a lot more conservatively. Hence more dealers and collectors sending coins to American third party graders than to ICCS.
