Indeed ... we are now entering the grade range where these circulated lovelies have earned well-deserved scars from the life battles they have experienced serving our Nations commerce.
That is what I meant to say yesterday.

The G06 coins shown so far are fabulous ... and each in their own way demonstrates the absolute beauty of fine coins when they reach this point in their service ...
I have four honestly circulated classic silver commemorative to share on G06 day ...
1893 Isabella Quarter DollarNet distribution of 24,124 coins. Companion of course to the 1892/1893 Columbian Exposition Half Dollar as shown above so well by HONDO.

Readily available in the market in circulated condition. PCGS has certified 71 examples below AU.
This coin is Pop 2 with 9 lower.

1918 Illinois Centennial Half Dollar (Lincoln)Net distribution of 100,000 coins. The first classic commemorative to 'sell out' ... and a favored design to this day.
Somewhat tougher to find in the market today in circulated condition ... PCGS has certified 22 examples below AU.
This lovely coin is Pop 2 with 6 lower.

1921 Missouri Centennial Half DollarNet distribution of 20,400 (estimated) coins between the 'plain' and '2x4' variety. Both varieties are equally priced in the marketplace.
Not too tough to find in average circulated condition ... PCGS has certified 38 examples (both varieties) below AU.
This G06 example is Pop 3 with 3 lower.

1927 Vermont Sesquicentennial Half DollarNet distribution of 28,142 coins. Tough circulated coin to find in the market today. PCGS has certified 10 examples below AU.
This coin is Pop 2 with 2 lower.

I truly appreciate the opportunity to share these coins with all of you ... they are IMHO amazing examples of USA coinage history that by all rights (and issue price) should have never reached this state of wear.
Looking forward to the upcoming days ... I am enjoying all the coins you folks are sharing.
David
