I started buying 1 oz silver Libertads about four years ago, have 36 of the 43 years, mostly BU but a few proof and reverse proof. I don't love them enough to get a complete set, the low mintage years are expensive. I'm more a stacker than a collector. I don't have a complete set of anything LOL. The Libertad has gone through several design and finish changes. I like the early years best with the more shiny cartwheel finish like Morgan and Peace dollars. As mentioned there's been a lot of talk about very low mintages for 2025, I won't buy one. I bought a few gold Libertads before spot price went crazy high. Numista and Wikipedia also have mintage charts, there's a year or two that show different numbers so don't know which is correct. The Mexico mint is usually late releasing them, not until midyear.
