Great pre-'33 Ed. My last gold purchase, well other then a 1/2 oz commemorative, was a AU ST. Gaudens last Nov. for $3,900 which are now going for about $5,130 so I have no complaints. The 1/2 oz gold was a spot price flash sale at $2,039 last Nov. . Again no complaints.

A few weeks ago I bought 5 BU 2024 Perth Lunar Dragons in capsules because, well, because they looked so darn cool.

Bought a 1843 Seated Liberty Silver Dollar $1 Coin PCGS VF for $429 because, again, I always wanted one and they look so darn kool. Bought 3 1oz gold Krugerrands in the 2nd half of 2025, a 1oz gold American Eagle, and a 2026 1oz gold Britannia all for the $3,400 range or less. Bought a 1885 CC Morgan in MS65 for about $1,300. My last 10 oz silver RCM went for $527.

But last Oct. I started concentrating on silver ASE's. I read the market and decided I wanted the most liquid metal I could get so I started buying 10's of 1 oz ASE's for the $61 each and just followed them up, making my purchases smaller and smaller. Sorry but I passed on $115 an oz silver.

Now a few months later I'm passing on the gold since I dont have the cash for it. Dont get me wrong, if I had the cash I'd be swimming in gold but I dont. And the ASE, tho a nice coin, is not my favorite but you can't beat them for their liquidity so Ive been picking off a few at a time.

I had a good 2025 making just a few mistakes and now just holding down the fort. I did buy some high premium artsy Germania coins just because they are so kool. Perth Mint artsy's too. Can't help it and the old Lady loves 'em too.

Thank you HondoB, jbuck, and Silverskunk.
A nice trio of coins, Wheatback. It seems that classic gold is popular these days.

No new coins to report.
But I did add four albums to pretty much complete that department.

Yeah love to hear about albums being completed. It seems hard and harder to do the last few years. This is a gold coin I bought on a whim at the beginning of last year not expecting it to more then double so quickly. All in all 2025 was an impressive year to own gold. LOL, to bad I couldn't afford more of it.

What-Did-You-Add-To-Your-Stash-Today?

I had everything out for about 3 hours last night. Just admiring the beauty of the mostly silver stack, tho I do own "some" gold. I'd like to own some Mexican gold this year and sneak in more silver Libertads "my favorite silver coins".

I bought a 2026 gold Britannia last year before prices went bananas and its just a spectacular coin. I was mooning over it last night, the Brit is a favorite silver coin for me. Strangely tho I admit the ASE is a nice silver coin its far from my favorite.
