45 Chrome 5 Cent Die Clashes - Coin Community Forum

west- canuk Valued Member Canada 497 Posts	Posted 12/02/2012 5:58 pm Knowing that die clashes were common in the war years I have been looking for a victory nickel, I finally found one.. Clashes mainly on the reverse, a clash on the left of the torch which I think is the ear, on the right by the 45 - forehead, and framing the TS that is the chin and neck. The only obverse clash I could find was this one above his nose. Also lots of nice die cracks on the obverse. Also could someone possibly upload an overlay for this if they have one, might help me figure out what the nose clash is ? Is this your creation? Hello DBM Yes I did the overlay off coin for the Numicanada members in order to help them better understand and see these defects by looking through the coin.
