One "Cute animal coin" I found in my collection was this one: My wife didn't quite like it, but that's because we've been married for too long I think. It might work for you.

words could only imagine, if only I could afford those, with only 2500 minted, I can't find them for less than 400$ (i think 500$ is the lowest I've seen) haven't looked though!

i was thinking that, but she doesn't care if it's pure .999 silver or if it has meaning "the last penny" I already got her the reindeer 20$ for 20$, now looking for something asbout 120$

@tocoins - I might try to win those for myself :)
@falcon - I will look into those :)
@Bibo - GREAT idea! (I'm terrified of bumble bees) got stung by 7 when I was 4 years old but if I get her the 25c from my PO for only 29.99$ I can still get her MORE!

to jakedacc: Can recommend to take a look on these editions. Both Canadians and both are beautiful "animals coins". Actually, this design was initially used for Platinum (!) coins, but they also were struck in pure silver: 1. $5 2005 Silver Coin - Atlantic Walrus and Calf Beautiful coin with Proof finish(almost 1oz .999 Silver) with nice presentation case. I can't believe - it under CAD 50.00: http://www.cdncoin.com/product-p/623932232952.htm2. 2004 Canada Arctic Fox Fractional .9999 Fine Silver 4 coin Proof Set And this one amazing, believe me. As I know, it sold out at the dealers, but seen one in Mississauga. Well, it isn't really cheap, but gorgeous present. Here the URL to the ebay, the seller is trust-full, but check with him the coins condition: http://www.ebay.com/itm/2004-Canada...em257634ee61There is also "Lynx" set, but it more expensive... In bottom line: I have them in personal - really great Canadian coins. Something else? Check the 1oz Kangaroo at Sunset Proof version.

BTW:
I have additional Atlantic Walrus coin - no case, no certificate. Only capsuled coin in great condition (was in rush to buy it, before found the set).
Didn't plan, but can sell it for reasonable price. I am in Toronto.
