Hello Everybody

Just picked up $100 in pennies, I got a good number of wheats 1920 & 1929 are the notables and prob about $30 in copper.

Before I ask my questions from these pennies. I'm thinking about starting on half dollars. I was wondering if, for example, all TD's, Bank of America's etc. would sell or not sell halves, or if it varies branch to branch within the chain.

As far as these pennies, I was just wondering if anybody has heard of a 2005 being unplated? Is it possible for a unplated coin to have a rainbow tone? The edge of coin is a grey color. Any guesses.

These are horribly blurred, I hope to upload a better picture when I get my good camera from work, but are there any examples of a poor man's 1955 double die I can compare these to? The 1955 looks ok, but the I in liberty seems a bit wider than normal.

Is this 1979 considered an error?

To answer your questions, It varies from bank to bank, they are all different. I am not sure about the 2005, there are alot of faked unplated cents. Nice wheats! And, your 1979 appears to be a triple rim mad... not really any premium, but neat. I highly suggest you check out the following sites:

Even with the poor picture, I'm confident that the 2005 Lincoln Cent is not unplated. The other cent might be a partial collar, though. What does the edge of it look like?
