He's my story: I live in a small town, and have been looking all over the place for half dollar rolls. I finally get to a the First National Bank before it closes, and ask if they have any rolls of halves. The teller looks doubtful, looks in her tray, and says that she doesn't have any. I ask her to check again, and she discovers an old brown paper roll of halves. She opens it to check the number and I notice something.... I see a 1965, then a 1969, then a 1967! It turns out that the roll was 3 coins short, and she gave me $1.50 back. When I get to the car, I look them over, and lo and behold, EVERY SINGLE HALF WAS 40% SILVER! My second roll of halves, and I get 17 silver JFKs! I could barely contain my excitement! Pictures to come!
Total:
1965 x4
1966 x5
1967 x6
1969-D x2
Edit: Something I forgot to mention: the roll was a rather old looking one made from dark brown paper. So, from my experience, CWRs are better than BWRs. Also, what is the going price for a 40% silver half dollar? It will be good to know when I sell or trade them later.

Great score jlgaudlitz95.

There are a few small towns in the surrounding area. I think I'll go check them out tomorrow.

Notice I said 40%, not 90%. I looked it up, they are worth about $85. Still a great haul, especially for the second roll I ever bought!
