I keep all of the American coinage (down the road I believe it will bounce back like it usually does, 70 cents to the dollar)1973 RCMPs, 1991's and obviously silver.

Found 1 1973 RCMP
10 American Quarters

Finally, in one roll contained and 68 and 66 Silver quarter.
Not bad.

Thanks for reading.

Errrr...

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the last silver American quarters were made in 1964.

Unless he meant that the 67 and 68 were Canadian.

The post seems to imply the 10 American Quarters were in a different roll.

Well, at least my answer was factually accurate, if wholly irrelevant...

Factual it is.

Unless you consider the special 1976 40% issues and the 1992-date 90% silver proofs, neither of which apply to a 1960's US Quarter.

Also, not entirely irrelevant as it provides information for the reader.

..... I love it! Gave up on quarters a long time ago. I've searched maybe 18 boxes or so and have yet to find one. I stick with my dimes and pennies now.

Beat me to it! I laughed over the "irrelevant" comment also!

Congrats on the finds - maybe give it a little longer before the US coins rebound though.

I remember back in 2003-05 I heard the plan was to make the Canadian dollar and US dollar equal in value. I used to visit Canada for Christmas shopping b/c US money was exchanged for a LOT more in Canadian.

Argh - politicians!
