The reason people even buy 70 graded coins is for a Registry set

That's a good reason but I buy them for potential price appreciation AND a equally important reason is the grade guarantee for the 70's against spotting...worked for me quite a few times

Again, I would not consider ANACS for ASE's unless it was very near spot price...

I am not looking at "resale value." As I mentioned earlier, I just like proof 70 DCAM coins and I want to have this set. It is really nice.

If NGC graded them at MS 70 and PR70 DCAM, it would be $79 for the MS 70 and $110 for the PR70, but I don't want to bid $189 because it is ANACS. The bidding is now at $82, which is less than $9 above spot for each coin.

My conundrum on this is that I do not want to think I can get them at a low price and miss out because someone else sees more value in them. I need to know what people think they are worth and then adjust my bid plans to that area of pricing. I appreciate the input from Foxwoods Man and basebal21.

It would really help me out to find out what more forum members think an ANACS graded MS 70 and PR70 DCAM Silver Eagle set is worth?
