My two entries may only appeal to EdDop! Coin #1:- Numerian Antoninianus Obv:- IMP C NVMERIANVS AVG, Radiate bust right wearing imperial mantle and holding eagle-tipped scepter in right hand Rev:- MARS VICTOR, Mars advancing right with spear and trophy Minted in Lugdunum (C in right field) References:- RIC - (not listed with this bust type in RIC). Bastien 562 (3 examples cited) The consular busts are scarce for this dynasty, right facing ones even more so. Martin

Aurelian, 270-275, minted at Serdica early in 274, after the recovery of the east, as noted in the legend ORIENS AVG Sol standing left, raising right hand and holding globe in left. Single captive at his feet left. What a neck! Estiot 1006, RIC 276 22 mm. 3.12 grams. This type is very common and comes from several mints and varieties in the position of Sol and with two captives. It has a nice reference to his role in Roman history.
