The 1917-P Ty 1 imaged is in my current set.
My old set had a flashier MS 66 FH that looked
like it was carved out of ice.

Nice set! Your FHs look amazing! I have a few SLQs. Also, the SLQ design is just really amazing.
Rest in Peace

I just sent in to my photographer four newps for
imaging. One coin that was originally in an NGC 63
- now in a PCGS 64 holder was also sent in for
re-imaging.

My bids for two more upgrades at the current
Heritage auction have been over riden and I
am not chasing these coins. My bids were way
up there - considerably more than previously
winning bids - so - I don't know if I'll be
upgrading very much anymore !

Rest in Peace

I'm definitely more of a fan of the earlier dates in the series. You can definitely see the difference in the strike quality. Every thread that you post on is an exercise in coin aristocracy.

Have only bought one upgrade to my latest collection.

When I get off the iPad, I'll add the new 1927-D in MS 65
... from Andy at Angel Dee's ... bought at the Chicago ANA
in August.

Beautiful coins. In high grade those are one of my favorite designs. I hope to find a couple like this for my 7070 slabbed type set.

this is my favorite coin but I have stayed away from doing a set of them because I would want the nicest coins and man would that break the bank. I bought a t1 1917 VF30 Standing Liberty quarter for my 7070 today and all yours are so pretty.

I might eventually attempt to put together F-VF set of these as I just love the coin.
