Hello everyone.... this is where I'm going to post about the 19th century additions to my book and post pics as soon as I get the coins, whether they come out clear or not will be a different story...This collection has a lot of different kinds of coins from errors, die breaks and proofs...
I am really sorry about the lack of pics at this point but I just picked out the last of the ones I wanted today...but as soon as I get them in hand I'm going to grab the camera and try to get some good pics...
To start out I got all the
Half Cents and the 2 earliest large coppers... I am totally stoked to get these coins and to be able to own this history in my hand and pass it down to my kids....
OK, to the coins...
Half Cents1805 Draped Bust C-1 XF-AU
1809 Classic Head C-3 XF-AU
1851 Coronet (Braided Hair) XF
Large Copper Cents
1802 Draped Bust (Fraction Error)S-228 XF-AU
1810/09 Classic Head (Over Date Error)s-281 XF-AU
so as you can see I have some nice pieces coming and to put them with the 2 cent piece with the extensive die cracks just makes it all the better.... I am planning on getting the first page done by the end of the year and starting on the second page, when taxes come around I plan on getting some of the gold coins for the book..
Heres the listings for what I bought as long as they are still up...

its late, just got home from the ER cause my 7 yr old swallowed a watch battery... he's gonna be ok but it was scary because we didn't know how the battery was going to react with his stomach acid, doc said he should pass it ok but to be on the look out for blood and have him X-rayed again on Monday.. so fun fun.. good night... PEACE...
