Here's my 1885-O toned Morgan dollar. I've tried many times to take good photos but it has been difficult to capture the colors accurately. These are the best I've been able to accomplish so far.
It's really a beautiful coin, graded PCGS MS-64. I probably paid five times what an ordinary MS-64 would cost but I don't regret it one bit.
Any comments? Maybe some tips on perfecting the color capture?
Sometimes the toning is hard to capture on a coin, the slab doesn't make it any easier. You may need three lamps and may need to filter one or two of them. In any case that is a sweet looking toner.
