I recently watched a YouTube video on unusual coins and errors. The poster said that a penny with a space between the A and M in AMERICA on reverse side of the coin made it unusual because it was minted for proof sets only. Any found in regular circulation were considered valuable. He mentioned the years 1997-1999 only. I found a 1992 with wide A M today. I will try to upload a pic for purposes of this question. Does anyone know more about wide A M pennies?
For others not willing to go to the site, 1998, 1999 & 2000 are the years to look at for wide AMs with the 1999 the scarcest. Look for a Close AM on the 1992s.
