Don't know off the top of my head, but check completed listings on ebay. Consider that there is a lot of silver in a complete set so you'll have to factor spot price of silver in as less negotiable than the rest of the set. Also condition of the constituent coins is important too. Here's an ebay listing asking $900. Good looking set, at least the first page is.

I haven't done the math to know if this is a good deal or not.

I have that set all coins go from AU to MS.70 and the value is over 3,000...But I would only be willing to pay 1/3 that price so I would guess if all coins were close to mint state 1,000 to 1,200.

Also remember a bit of a premium will almost always be applied for the saved time and effort of hunting down the coins yourself

I just spent around 2 years putting that set together in all MS coins, many of the P&D being from mint and special mint sets. I would charge no less than 2500.00 if not more. As basebal said, you will pay for the persons time and energy putting that set together. So if you pay less than that, you got a good deal IMO.

So I went to the Coin World value table and added up from 64 to 81 using the SMS for 65-67 and grades of MS66 and PF66. No double dies or accented hair or anything spectacular. That chunk added up to 1100.00 on its own. Remember the only silver there is 64-70 and the only key included was the 70D. So I would up my original price to 3000.00 minimum.

Aside from retail value or not, like I said, it took me a while to get those coins. And here is the thing. There are several coins I want to upgrade, so while it is complete, it isn't done.

Silvertowne has set 160 total coins for $1050. I was thinking about doing it.

The listing shown by CelticKnot is cheaper and all coins are BU.
Part of the challenge is in getting the coin that you like, usually when buying completed coin set, we eventually have to upgrade some of the coins. So when you buy such set, you may save time and money on a bulk deal, however, if you are picky (have strict standard about your set) then this may not be a great approach.

I would say 650 to 750, depending on venue. There is a lot of silver counting the 1992 on silver proofs, but that is for a complete set 1964 - 2012 in albums.

Kennedy halfs have fallen off from what little value they had. The only thing keeping their value up at all are the 92 up silver proofs.

I recently sold a set that went 690, and was content. Greysheet would be around 675 if I remember correctly.
Rest in Peace

If I wanted the collection, and if I had the money; I'd pull the trigger on that ebay auction. If I did ebay.
