I have six dimes here and I'm trying to figure out which one should I use for my type set. All these dimes come out of a five dollar bin at a local coin shop.

Four of them look pretty bad...I was between the 1906 and the 1916.

In my opinion the 1916 looks the best of the group.

The 1916 has a couple scratches on the face and the 1906 has a couple rim bruises. It is really close both will go XF.

My vote is for the 1916.

I thought the 1906 at first, but after your second pics the 1916.

1916 looks much better to me. Seems to have a lot less hairlines than the 1906

I also chose the 1906nfirst, but side by side in better lighting, I change my vote to the 1916
