CCF Will Be At The 2013 Chicago World's Fair Of Money!

If I recall correctly, you have business cards printed with the CCF Internet address. Would it be possible to
scan a sample and post it here?

I ask because at the last local coin show I was scrounging around for a piece of paper and a pen to write the link.
It would help me to print some "cards" and keep them in my wallet. I could then pass them out when I meet a kid.

Perhaps others would like to do the same. We cannot all attend a major show, but we certainly can spread the word
on a regional and local level.

I'm going to try and make it, I have little excuse since it's only a 1.5 hour drive for me!

I'll try to make it there. However, since the parking and entrance fees are kind of high, I may just make it on one day. Sure wish I could find a cheaper parking place around that Rosemont place.

Newmismatist, if this is in your backyard can we pick your brain for cheaper hotels and transit to the show.

Drove around the Rosemont Convention Center this morning to try to remember all the places to stay. Note if your coming in at O'Hare Airport, there is that L/Subway system with a stop about a block from the Center.
If you Google Rosemont, Illinois Hotels/Motels you would get as many as 42 places. Ignor any not on River Road or in other suburbs such as Desplains, Schiller Park, etc.
If driving, expensive to park around that place. Gas now about $4+/gallon.
Ccrowne Plaza Hotel is accross the street from the Center on River Road. 866-599-6674. Restaurant and bar on first floor. I know that one well.
Double Tree by Hilton also almost accross the street on River Road. 866-281-6817 and is about $80+/night
Also, another Hilton about one block further North at 5550 River Road.
Westin Hotel is possibly the most expensive at about $103+/night. About 2 blocks further North on River Road.
866-286-0843. Possibly the oldest Hotel in the area. I went to the bar in that place about 25 years ago. Was expensive then too.
If your driving there is a Motel 6 and a Denny's Restaurant about a mile South on River Road on a street called lawrence Ave. Much, much cheaper but then you would either walk a long way or park in the Parking lot accross from the Convention Center.
Note that almost all Hotels in the area are about $75 to over $100/night in that area.


Remember there are as many as 4 coin shows in the area every Month, all year long.
Coutryside, Il. on the second Sunday of every Month is about 80 to 100 dealers
Itaska is on the second Sunday of every Month.
Also, some other ones in Rolling Meadows and somewhere else. Can't remember.
