Well, tomorrow (9/2) is the official "big day" for my daughter, but I couldn't wait any longer. She's going to have a bunch of friends over for a party, so I also figured crazy young girls and lots of loose coins wouldn't mix.

We let her open one present a day early, and it was a box full of coin treasures that originated around the world, and were gifted from around the US & Canada!
Here are pictures as promised:

Here's everything she got:
US Coins/Tokens:
- 1825 Large Cent (from the "trade up" thread)
- 1907
Indian Head cent (100 years before her date of birth!)
- 1941
Mercury dime (her first circulated silver!)
- 1969 Philadelphia mint token
- 1976 P & D Bicentennial Quarters - Uncirculated
- 1978
Ike dollar- 1985
Lincoln Cent with a heart stamped on the obverse

What a great day.
Extra special thanks to Earle42 for getting this idea off the ground! What started out as me trying to trade up to a 2007 US Proof Set ended up something much bigger. God bless you all and many thanks on behalf of my daughter from a humbled daddy.
