I wouldn't say weird find, more of exciting. A couple of months ago I pulled a 1857 Flying Eagle cent from a roll of Lincoln cents.

So far, I've found a plastic coin in a roll of pennies, and a carnival token in a roll of nickels.

Hi all, new here. I found this one day at work when I came across a roll of cents with a lump in it.

I understand how a dime can get into a roll of cents. You use one of those auto sorters you get a "Wally World" and the dime skips it's slot and drops into the cent slot. I get it but "c'mon man".....how did you miss this. I know the dime isn't that unusual but it's location is.

Given the higher relief it should be a memorial.

@swilson856, it is a memorial, If I remember correctly it came from a fresh roll from a case of 2001 D. I probably should have written it down, when I got it, but that was over 109 years ago.

Penny rolls: I've had the usual Canadian and wheat cents, had a pair of stamped cents as well. One with an 'I love you' heart and the other stamped with JFK's head, for some reason. Also had a Panamanian 1 Centésimo once.
Nickel rolls: Canadian, some silver, a proof and a buffalo. Other foreign stuff would be a British penny, an Icelandic 1kr coin, a Bahama 5 cent coin and an Argentina 1 Centavo.
Dime rolls: Not many highlights here, had a few over-filled and some silver, not even Canadian stuff with these.
Quarter rolls: The only real oddity I've had from these was a quarter with the name 'ZACK' stamped across the obverse.
All of the above have been found at work, I often go through 10-15 rolls of coins a shift as I work in a busy convenience store.
Half Dollar rolls: Not done much with these, but I did find 4 rolls that every single coin had 'INDY 500' written on it in red sharpie.
