I got a black plastic VFW "One Free Beer" token. On the other side it gives the number of the VFW. Its about the diameter of a quarter but thickness of a half.

About a decade and a half ago I ended up with a bunch of these things in a roll of Canada dimes. I have no idea what they are or where they're from, but I've got LOTS! I stuck a Canadian dime (identical in size to a US dime) in the middle of the pile for comparison.

I found a micro SD memory card in a bag of dimes. Was super excited it might have spy documents or something else incriminating on it, but alas just pics from the Portland and Seattle areas. I was disappoint. No recognizable faces on any of the people for me to attempt to return it, so I kept it.

Could give someone who is willing to look some fun by hollowing out a zinc penny and putting a microSD card in there. bury some silver somewhere, put some GPS points on there. You know, the whole shibang.

Some of my penny roll finds include a plastic cent with COPY on front and back, a gold-colored penny, and a penny with a cross-shaped hole through the coin.
